IT's TIME FOR A BETTER BAG
About 2 million plastic bags are used every minute around the world resulting in over 1 trillion plastic bags used every year worldwide. Plastic bags require millions of barrels of oil to manufacture annually before they are discarded. They are rarely recycled and can take up 500 years or more to degrade. The extremely slow decomposition rate of plastic bags leaves them to drift in the ocean where they are mistaken for food by many marine animals such as sea turtles. THE SOLUTION? REUSABLE SHOPPING BAGS. It’s time to REFUSE TO USE Plastic Bags. Show us how you can make a BETTER BAG.
